Movies and T.V. reviews or just comments
Brokedown Palace (1999)
Lou Diamond Phillips
I have always wanted to watch this movie, I like the actors in it, and especially as I watched Lake Placid (1999) and really enjoyed Pullman in that.
This is a hard movie to watch, for a myriad of reasons.
Two girls are arrested for smuggling in Thailand, in this case they are innocent, a smooth talker has set them up and from this we have the struggle that is an innocent put into a horrible situation, unfairly and not believed.
The ending surprised me yet it was probably one of the most touching and fitting conclusions that I have seen in a long time.
I have always appreciated movies that made people aware of the world, though I admit they do not always come to mind and help us when we are about to make a huge mistake by trusting someone we should not, they do open eyes that may never know or see what is possible in the far reaches of our own civilization.
The music is still amazing.
